Term: 16 weeks, part-time (10-15 hours/week), with potential extension up to 24 weeks based on academic schedule, performance, and mutual agreement.

Role Overview
RKDA MEDIA is seeking a Social Media Content Creator Intern to help produce engaging, performance-driven content for client accounts. Responsibilities include graphic design, editing short-form reels from existing footage, capturing UGC-style content on-site, and supporting caption writing and social execution.
Key Responsibilities
Design social media graphics aligned with client brand guidelines and campaign objectives
Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, etc.) from existing and original footage
Capture original UGC-style content on-site at client locations using mobile or camera equipment
Conceptualize and assemble engaging social media reels optimized for platform performance
Support Social Media Manager(s) with caption writing and content scheduling
Assist in organizing, labeling, and managing digital media assets
Collaborate with the creative team to execute content calendars and campaign deliverables
Adapt content formats across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
Maintain brand consistency and quality control across all published assets
Complete additional creative or administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Media, Graphic Design, or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other creator-focused tools such as CapCut and Canva
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and short-form content trends
Strong visual storytelling instincts and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment and meet deadlines
Organized, self-motivated, and ability to receive and implement feedback
Reliable transportation for occasional on-site client visits
Portfolio or sample work demonstrating video editing and design capability
Technical Requirements
Must have a personal laptop capable of running Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or comparable creative software efficiently
Must have a smartphone capable of capturing high-quality vertical video (iPhone or equivalent Android device)
Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote collaboration and file transfers
Comfortable working with cloud-based systems (Google Drive, Notion, Canva, Slack, etc.)
Ability to travel locally for on-site content capture (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred)
Compensation
This is an unpaid internship designed to complement academic learning through mentorship, real-world project exposure, and portfolio and professional development. RKDA MEDIA is committed to supporting interns in obtaining academic credit where applicable and will provide any required documentation to your institution as needed.
